AC repair, done right the first time.
60-minute diagnostic. Quote in writing before any wrench turns. 80% of repairs finish the same visit. 24-month parts warranty on everything we install.
From diagnosis to finished repair.
When you call us about a no-cool or weak-cool issue, we book you a visit window - usually same-week, often same-day during summer. The tech arrives with a fully-stocked truck (we carry capacitors, contactors, common compressor sizes, refrigerant, and thermostats) so most repairs finish in one visit.
Diagnostic is $89 flat. It includes a system test, refrigerant pressure check, electrical check, and a written quote for the repair. If you say yes to the repair, the diagnostic fee is waived. If you say no, you owe the diagnostic and nothing else - no pressure, no upsells.
We never quote a system replacement on a first visit unless the system is truly beyond economical repair. Most AC problems are $200-$600 fixes. Replacement is a last-resort conversation, not a default sales pitch.
What we fix most often.
Ballpark pricing below. Exact quote comes after diagnosis.
Capacitor replacement
Most common AC failure. Symptoms: AC won't start, humming sound, repeated breaker trips. We stock common ranges on every truck.
Contactor replacement
The relay that turns your AC on and off. When it fails, the unit either won't start or won't shut off.
Refrigerant leak repair
Includes leak detection, repair, and recharge. Price depends on leak location and refrigerant type (R-410A vs R-22).
Condenser fan motor
When the outdoor fan stops, the unit short-cycles on high pressure. We replace with OEM-equivalent motors with matched amp draw.
Compressor replacement
Heart of the system. We always discuss replacement-vs-repair economics before going forward. Some systems are better retired.
Thermostat / smart-stat install
Including programmable, Wi-Fi smart, and zone-controller upgrades. Ecobee, Nest, Honeywell, and Sensi compatible.
Frequently asked.
How much does an AC repair cost?
Common repairs range from $89 (diagnostic only) to $450 (capacitor and contactor replacement) to $1,800+ (compressor swap). We quote in writing before any work starts. Diagnostic fee is waived if you book the repair.
How long does an AC repair take?
80% of repairs finish on the first visit because we stock common parts on every truck. Compressor or major refrigerant work can take 4-6 hours. We tell you the realistic timeline when we quote.
Do you give a warranty on AC repairs?
Yes - 24 months on every part we install. Industry standard is 12. If a part fails inside two years, we replace it on us.
What if you find a bigger problem during diagnosis?
We pause and re-quote. No work happens until you approve the new scope in writing. You can also decline and only pay the diagnostic fee - no obligations.
