Heating repair, before the next cold snap.
Gas furnaces, heat pumps, electric strips. 24/7 emergency line for OKC, Edmond, and Norman whenever it's below freezing. Most repairs finish same-day.
When the heat goes out, we move fast.
Oklahoma winters don't usually freeze for long - but when they do, a dead furnace stops being inconvenient and starts being dangerous. Our 24/7 emergency line in OKC, Edmond, and Norman is for that scenario: below-freezing outside, no heat inside. We aim to be on-site within 90 minutes.
For non-emergency repairs we schedule same-week. Diagnostic is $89 flat, waived if you book the repair. We stock the common failures - ignitors, blower motors, draft inducers, gas valves, pressure switches, capacitors - on every truck.
We don't sell furnace replacement on a first visit unless your heat exchanger is cracked or your unit is past 20 years on borrowed time. Most heating problems are $250-$700 fixes. We'll tell you what's worth fixing and what's worth replacing - honestly, with the math on paper.
What we fix most often.
Ballpark pricing below. Exact quote comes after diagnosis.
Ignitor replacement
Most common modern-furnace failure. The hot-surface ignitor cracks from heat cycles. We stock universal and OEM-specific ignitors.
Blower motor replacement
Variable-speed ECM motors are pricier than older single-speed PSC motors. We match the spec to your system instead of pushing the cheapest fit.
Draft inducer replacement
The small motor that vents combustion gases. When it fails, the furnace won't start (safety lockout). We replace with OEM-matched units.
Gas valve / pressure switch
Safety-critical components. We always test gas pressure before declaring a valve dead - sometimes the real problem is line pressure.
Heat exchanger inspection / replacement
Cracked heat exchangers leak CO. We inspect with camera and combustion analyzer. Replacement is sometimes more than the system is worth.
Heat pump defrost board
When a heat pump won't defrost itself in winter, the outdoor coil ices up. Usually the defrost control board or the sensor.
Frequently asked.
Do you do emergency furnace repair?
Yes. 24/7 emergency line for OKC, Edmond, and Norman whenever the outside temp is below freezing. Other metro cities get next-morning priority slotting.
My furnace is making a weird sound. What is it?
Most common: bearing failure in the blower motor (high-pitched whine), failing draft inducer (rattling), or expansion noises from undersized ducts (clicking on startup). We diagnose by sound on the phone and confirm on-site.
How long do repairs take?
Most furnace repairs finish in 1-2 hours. Heat exchanger replacement or full ignition system rebuilds can take 4-6 hours. Same-day finish on 80% of jobs.
Should I just replace an old furnace?
It depends on the math - repair cost, system age, and efficiency gain on replacement. Rule of thumb: if the repair is more than half the replacement cost AND the system is over 15 years old, replacement usually wins. We do the math out loud with you.
