How I host · Del City, OK

Your website stays up. I make sure of it.

You should never have to think about your website going down, getting hacked, or loading slow. That's my job, and I take it seriously. Here's how I host and look after your site.

Text me any time at (405) 458-0864. I usually answer the same day, a day or two at most.

Every monthly plan runs on the same base: a private Proxmox server, Cloudflare in front, 3-2-1+1 backups, uptime checks every 5 minutes, portal access, and 30 minutes of edits a month. Edits past that are $50 an hour. Hosting is $95 a month, Local SEO is $350 and Growth is $650, each month to month. The details are on the pricing page.

The simple version

What this means for your business.

No technical jargon. Just what you actually care about.

It loads fast

Your site runs in its own container, not on a server shared with hundreds of other sites, so another site's traffic spike doesn't slow yours down.

It's protected

Cloudflare sits in front of your site and filters attacks, bots and bad traffic before they reach the server it runs on.

I'm watching it

An outside monitoring service checks your site every 5 minutes, day and night. If it ever looks wrong, I get an alert by text and email.

Your site is backed up

Every night your site is backed up, with several recent copies kept at all times and an offsite copy on Cloudflare R2. If something goes sideways, I restore from a recent backup.

Your own private space

Every client gets their own isolated container on servers I own. Your site is separate from the other sites I host, so it doesn't share files or a database with them.

One person, accountable

Run by Dominic Stroder. I build every site with tools I made, and it runs on servers I own here in Del City. I check every page before it goes live, and I'm the one you text.

Why it matters

Budget shared hosting and what you give up.

Budget shared hosting puts your site on the same server as hundreds or thousands of other sites. A plan like that costs less than mine, and for a hobby site that can be the right call. For a business that gets its calls from the site, here is the difference.

Budget shared hosting

  • ×Your site shares a server with hundreds of strangers. When their site gets slammed with traffic, yours can slow down too, and you have no control over it.
  • ×If a neighbor's site gets hacked, yours can be affected too. One bad site on the block puts everyone at risk.
  • ×When something breaks you usually open a support ticket and wait. Nobody there built your site or knows your business.
  • ×A low monthly price doesn't cover the cost of lost calls and lost rankings every hour your site is down or slow.

Stroder Web Services

  • ✓Your site gets its own private container on servers I own. Other clients' files, code and problems stay on their side of the wall.
  • ✓Cloudflare protects your site at the edge: attacks, bots and bad traffic get filtered before they touch your server.
  • ✓When something happens, and eventually something always does, you text me. I built your site. There's no ticket and no queue.
  • ✓The monthly fee pays for someone watching your site and answering when it needs attention, not for a server slot nobody checks.
My setup process

What I set up before your site goes live.

Every client gets this. No skipped steps.

1

Your own private hosting container

I set up a private hosting container just for your site, separate from every other client's, on servers I own here in Del City, Oklahoma.

2

Security locked down

I lock your hosting environment down so that only the traffic meant for your site can get in and everything else is blocked. It's part of every plan, with nothing for you to set up.

3

Cloudflare connected, SSL on

Your domain is routed through Cloudflare. That gives your site the padlock in the browser, filters attacks, and speeds up delivery to your visitors. You never have to touch any of it.

4

Monitoring turned on

An outside monitoring service checks your site every 5 minutes. If something looks wrong, I get an alert by text and email.

5

Nightly backups

Every night your site is backed up, in layers: snapshots on local disk, container backups at the server level, a daily sync to a second physical drive, and an offsite copy on Cloudflare R2. If anything ever goes wrong, I restore your site from a recent backup.

After launch

What I keep checking.

A site isn't finished the day it goes live. Pages drop out of Google, listings go out of date and links break, so some of this runs on a schedule.

Every 5 minutes

The outside uptime check on your site, on every plan.

Every night

An automatic health check of the basics: a sitemap that lists every page, and visit tracking working on every page. It runs on every live site I host, and if a check fails, I get an alert.

Every week

A probe of your site for response time, redirect chains, missing files and certificate expiry. A domain check that warns me 90 days before your domain registration expires, so it never lapses by surprise. Both run on every live site I host.

Every Monday, on Local SEO and Growth

I pull Google's URL Inspection for every page on your site. If a page has dropped out of Google's index, I see it that week, not months later.

Every month, on Local SEO and Growth

A report on your Search Console positions, click trends and PageSpeed, plus Google Business and citation monitoring. When I add a page to your site, I check a day later whether Google picked it up.

Sites I host

Two of the sites I'm watching.

SWS started in 2026, so I'd rather show you a short true list than pad it. C&D Lift was my first client.
